Nutritive Green Herb Salt

This nutritive green herb salt blend is easy to make and packed with nutrient-dense herbs like nettles, alfalfa, and seaweed. It’s a delicious way to add flavor to everything from roasted vegetables to avocado toast.
Makes about ½ cup
Servings: 0.5 cup

Ingredients
  

  • 1 tablespoon dulse
  • 1 tablespoon kelp
  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
  • 1 tablespoon nutritional yeast
  • 1/2 tablespoon alfalfa
  • 1/2 tablespoon nettles
  • 2-3 tablespoons sea salt to taste

Method
 

  1. In a spice grinder or a mortar and pestle, briefly grind the herbs until they’re fairly uniform in size.
  2. Transfer the ground herbs to a small bowl and add 2 tablespoons of salt. Toss to combine. Taste and adjust the salt, as desired.
  3. Sprinkle herb salt liberally on anything your heart desires.
  4. Store the herb salt in an airtight container away from direct heat and light.
